Visual Fault Locators
Visual fault locators can help
you find broken fibers or splices, and over bending of routed cables.
Connected Fibers stocks 1.25mm
and 2.50mm visual fault locators. Simply plug in your connector and a
bright red laser will be emitted from any broken fiber or splice or even
through the jacket of a cable that may be installed with an over bending
situation. Every fiber optic technician should have this tool in their
kit for the field or in the lab.

OptoTest OP280 MT and Ribbon
Visual Fault Locators
The OP280 is designed to verify
wiring of ribbon fiber connectors, hybrid cables and distribution boxes
quickly and conveniently. Each of the twelve fibers is illuminated with
super bright red lasers.

This
Ribbon Visual Fault Finder can be used for singlemode or multimode
application and is pre-programmed with various sequences for automatic
or individual scanning of each fiber. User defined patterns can be
programmed via the USB data port which also can be used to charge the
internal battery. For fast charge a standard 5VDC power supply is
available.
